Jodi Ryder: Producing Branch Manager

Founded in 2003, and with over 3,400+ loans closed in her career, Jodi is the “Ryder” in Ryder Mortgage Group. If you look around the internet, you’ll see that she has won National awards for annual production seemingly year in and year out. Jodi is recognized by the Scotsman Guide (National Mortgage Ranking Service) as being a Top Woman Originator in the United States for multiple years - running back for over a decade. She got into the Mortgage business in the 1990’s when she and her mother co-owned a Mortgage Processing company together.

Most importantly, she is a mother to Mady (now attending University of Arizona) and Carson (Softmore in High School). She lives in Murrieta, CA still near her parents. When not at her desk, you’ll see her in a Pilates studio or at Carson’s baseball or running off to Arizona to spend time with Mady.

Eric Simantel, MBA: Branch Manager, Reverse Certified

Joining the team back in 2020, Eric is a Loan Officer located in Portland, Oregon. In addition to his refinance and purchase loan work, Eric is also a regularly appearing author for the Scotsman Guide (the mortgage industry’s largest business-to-business publication). There, you will see his articles on rate forecasting, business development, the use of AI in the industry, and pricing trends.

He enjoys diving into analytics and qualitative data to produce long-range mortgage rate forecasts. He published his forecast of that infamous 2022 mortgage rate climb on LinkedIn a good six months before other national forecasters and economic specialists recognized the trend.

MBA from the University of Oregon, specializing in Management, with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

Eric is the father of an 8th grader (Nora) and a junior (Kellen). He coaches Nora’s club softball team and soccer.

Ashley Gollnick: Production Manager
Ashley has been in the mortgage industry for over two decades. She got her start working for large wholesale lenders such as First Franklin, Washington Mutual, and Home Savings. She finds it much more gratifying to work directly with buyers and homeowners on their loans. It gives her joy being able to see and hear the success stories firsthand. When she is not managing an active pipeline, Ashley enjoys spending time relaxing with her family and their dog.

Ryan Abramson: Loan Officer
With the Ryder Mortgage Group since 2015, Ryan is a mortgage industry veteran of almost 20 years. He’s assisted Jodi on the close of well over 1,000 loans. Ryan lives in Alpine, CA with his wife Jennifer, and two children Andrew and Alexis. When out of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family fishing, hiking, and taking in the fresh air of the Laguna Mountains.

Michael Mineo: Senior Manager, Processing
Long considered one of the top Processors in the Mortgage Broker world, Michael has been in the loan business for over 20 years doing behind the scenes work on nearly every single file that enters the Ryder Mortgage Group. He has a niche for foreseeing roadblocks well ahead of an underwriter’s opportunity to review the file, which time after time allows a transaction to move forward without delay. When Michael is not working on a loan file, he can be found supporting his son’s soccer and high school career and staying in shape with Crossfit.
